Chloe Moriondo – Oyster Tour in London
The final night of Chloe Moriondo’s Oyster Tour in London on 25th September 2025 felt more like a celebration among friends than a standard show. Opening act Yuneki took the stage to a nearly full venue and was met with warm enthusiasm from the crowd, many of whom were already singing along from the front rows. Her set closed with the high-energy “I Love It,” where she encouraged the audience to jump with her.
Even between sets, the mood stayed lively with music choices including SpongeBob’s “Jellyfish Jam” and “Stadium Rave” to keep the audience buzzing.
When Chloe appeared, the atmosphere shifted into something both joyful and bittersweet. At one point, they asked for the house lights to be raised so they could see their fans’ faces and took time to thank the crowd for the many ways people express themselves at shows. Throughout the night, Chloe made a point of connecting with the audience - complimenting a fan’s fairy wings, joking warmly, and sharing candid reflections. In keeping with the aquatic theme of the Oyster era, the backdrop was awash in ocean imagery.
Chloe gave a moving introduction to the sadder side of her catalogue before playing Shoreline, the first single from Oyster. During Use, the crowd was asked to wave their hands, and later, torches lit up the room for Pond, creating a sea of light that left Chloe visibly emotional. She also shared stories about her earliest songwriting, introducing her guitar “Kitty” before playing Manta Rays, the first song she ever wrote on guitar, followed by a cover of Mitski’s Liquid Smooth. Chloe took the time to thank fans for their warmth, “I just wanna thank you for making me feel comfortable enough to be mopey and miserable sometimes.”
The encore was teased with humour - “if only there were something that happened after the last song” - before fans’ cheers brought Chloe back for I Want To Be With You. The finale was emotional, ending in a couple of tears as Chloe expressed heartfelt gratitude: “You’ve taken such good care of me tonight. You should take care of yourselves too.” It was a fitting close to a tour that felt deeply personal, leaving the crowd both elated and moved.
